Asian University has a wide variety
of scholarships available for Undergraduate and Postgraduate study.

Undergraduate scholarships

The scholarships cover four years of academic study at Asian University.

They are for Thai nationals who are excellent students. This is in line with our intention to assist the needy of Thailand obtain a quality education.

For all undergraduate scholarships the following apply.

• Applicants must be Thai citizens

• Applicants must have a GPA of at least 2.75

• Scholarships will be awarded on the results of the Asian U Entrance Assessments.

Scholarships available

• Full scholarship of 400,000 Baht per academic year

• Full tuition scholarship of 300,000 Baht per academic year

• Partial scholarship of 200,000 Baht per academic year

• Partial scholarship of 100,000 Baht per academic year

Go-Inter (in Thailand)

Under the Go-Inter scholarship programme, there are two scholarships available each year for students in each of the 76 provinces of Thailand. [>>see details]

• Applicants must be Thai citizens and resident in the applicable province.

• Applicants must have a GPA of at least 3.00

• Scholarships will be awarded on the results of the Asian U Entrance Examination

Asian U will provide up to 600,000 Baht over four years (150,000 Baht per year) which can be matched by equal (or lesser) contributions from an industry or entrepreneur within the province. The Provincial Governor is expected to assist in finding suitable benefactors.

Range of Bursaries

150,000 Baht per academic year from Asian U + up to 150,000 Baht from local industry.

Civil Servants

Asian U offers half fee scholarships for the children of civil servants who meet certain conditions.

• Applicants must be Thai citizens and the children of Thai civil servants.

• Applicants must have completed their secondary education

• Scholarships will be awarded on the results of the Asian U Entrance Examination

Financial Aid

Financial assistance in the form of low-interest loans is available through Asian U from the Student Revolving Loan Programme.

The loan programme is administered by Asian U to assist needy undergraduates who meet eligibility requirements. The maximum loan amount is 100,000 Baht per academic year.

Asian U also offers non-interest loans to scholarship students. The maximum loan amount is 100,000 Baht per academic year.

Postgraduate Scholarships

Faculty of Business : MBA

For Citizens of the EU, North and South America, including Canada, we offer half fee scholarships to suitably qualified applicants.

The requirements are:

• An undergraduate degree from a reputable institution

• English language skills (minimum TOEFL 550 / IELTS 6.0)

The value of these scholarships is a total of 200,000 Baht over four semesters, which represents half the academic fee.

Faculty of Liberal Arts : MEd

Asian U is pleased to announce that all students enrolling for the MEd programme before 2011 will receive a 99,000 baht scholarship.
