In a 2+2 programme, you study 2 years at Asian University and 2 years at De Montfort University in Leicester, UK. At Asian University, you will gain the skills and language proficiency you need to successfully compete in an international programme at a British university.
You will also cover the courses in the first year of study at De Montfort University and just enter into the second year of study in the 3-year Bachelor degree programmes.
Students who gained an average GPA of 3.0 or higher over the first two years will be allowed to further their studies at the British university. IELTS 6.0 or higher is the required level of the English language.

Entrance requirements
You need a high school leaving diploma that allows for university entry (M6 in Thailand or equivalent) and a minimum IELTS score of 4.5.

All Engineering programmes from De Montfort University are accredited by The Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET).
How to apply? To study the 2+2 option, you need to apply for a Bachelor of Engineering programme at Asian U (see brochures), which you join for the first two years. From the end of your third semester, you can apply for the programme of your choice at De Montfort University, given you meet the requirements mentioned above.

Emergency exit
Students who fail to reach an average GPA of 3.0, can transfer the credits earned in their first two years to Asian University's B.Eng. and B.Sc. programmes (for Engineering), or to the B.A. of Multimedia programme (for Media Technology).
