English Summer Camps 2012
Asian University holds yearly camps in the school summer holiday period. In 2012, the two camps are held 24 March to 13 April 2012 and 17 April to 07 May 2012. (Due to the changed holiday periods after the flooding, each campus is only 3 weeks in 2012, instead of 4 weeks as usual.) The English Summer Camps are open to all age groups: Age 10 and above.
The academic programmeThe English Summer Camps provide an intensive academic programme in English, ranging from beginner through to advanced level. In addition, students have the opportunity to brush up their mathematics, information technology (IT) and prepare for such public examinations as the IELTS and TOEFL. The standard week, which includes twenty-two hours of English language, three hours of IT and two hours of mathematics, makes it the most intensive English language summer camp programme in Thailand.
The social programmeIn the evenings and at weekends, there are activities that include cooking, arts and crafts, and Latin and Jazz dancing as well as day excursions to various local attractions. The camps also include weekend sports competitions between campers and full time university students.
