The Full Time track is ideally designed for qualified applicants who can make a full time commitment to their MBA for four consecutive semesters, completing their thesis or MBA Project in the fourth semester. Full-time students are required to undergo a 2-month internship programme in Thailand or overseas in order to gain hands-on work experience. In contrast, the Part Time track is designed for executives with work experience who can carry only a partial course load over a period of 2 years.
Credits:
Individual subjects are typically designed to carry a credit value of 3 credit units each and will run through a single semester. Each semester will last 15 weeks and each credit unit equates to 3 hours per semester week of lecture hours. A successfully completed MBA Degree Thesis will carry a value of 12 credits and the MBA Project carries a value of 6 credits.
Option A (Thesis Option)
To complete the MBA degree, students have the option to undertake the 12-credit MBA thesis. After completing the core subjects, students can start working on the MBA thesis along with their electives.
Option B (Coursework only)
Students may elect to substitute 2 additional elective courses and an MBA Project in lieu of the MBA Thesis. The third and the final semester of study would then consist of the MBA Project and four Electives. The course content for each of these subjects is designed to give students an in-depth understanding of their area of specialization.
Note: All M.B.A. students taking Option B will be required to successfully complete an oral comprehensive examination.
