Every day our class starts at 8:00 (sharp). At begin the day with Intensive English by James Cook. He is quite a serious guy when he is in class and we have to be (absolutely) punctual. During the class, (I mean when he is lecturing) everyone have to be quiet and listen, otherwise he would stop teaching. Sometimes I fall asleep too. He generally assigns us some homework, but sometimes (not frequently) I submit the unfinished work to him. As a result, he sends it back and let me complete the job.
In fact this class is divided into 3 sections, another section is studying with Ivon, for English class. Also, he is very punctual and everyone cannot be late. He likes to rise up some topics and discuss with the student or let the student discuss among themselves in the class. What we need to do consistently as homework is, the same way as Jame's class, finding 5 news from any newspaper each week, summarizing it and, writing the comments.
For the other section, the instructor is Paul. He is a sort of a kind teacher and not very strict (but punctuality is the most important thing, students have to be on time, and in spite of that, there is a student who always late and is warned by him)
On Thursday, Mathematics is the first subject of the day. At the very beginning of the class, we have to take a quiz, so there always a couple of people who miss the quiz because they are late. Marilyn has made a good attempt in explaining and clarifying the Math problems to us. At the end of the class, a pile of Math problems is given to us as homework.
After 30 minutes break, we have another (one and a half-hour) class, Business English subject. Christ, who is a new instructor here, He has a good relationship, but he would be a bit moody when some student are late. In this class, we are sometimes (always??) confused by the lessons. Anyway, we have a quiz every week. There are only two questions on quiz, but to answer each one, we have to write an essay!
At the same period of time, but on another day, we are studying Accounting and Finance with Ms. Sasithorn. We have almost never been sleeping in this class because she always makes the lessons interesting for us. After finish lecturing, she gives us some exercise to see whether there are any points that we do not understand or not. By the way, we are able to study thoroughly. However, we still have homework to do (but not pretty much as we think it will)
In the afternoon, we have computer studies class with Mr. Pipat. It might be because he knows that the students always come to class late. So, he comes into the class around 5 minutes after the class begins. When he come to a rather complicated part of the lesson, we often feel like we are in a whirlpool, everything is mixed up in our head. However, he tries to use teaching material to help us understand those complicated matters.
